NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT [Episode #205 ~ 10-26-19]
Pictured: The Cramps.
HERE IT IS: The episode commemorating the 6th Anniversary of No Condition Is Permanent‘s debut as part of Luxuria Music’s Saturday evening line-up. That the show began on Halloween seemed to augur well for its future. At any rate, that’s our story and we’re sticking to it. We — being DJ’s Reeshard & Lee-Roy — spun a lot of spooky novelty singles over the course of last Saturday evening, during which the Purple Bat Lounge staged its annual costume competition. The bar offers a bottle of Kentucky Owl as the yearly prize, though no one can remember anyone ever winning. (The collective recall of The Purple Bat’s patrons is often challenged by issues just such as these.) That bartender LaWanda dusted off the bottle in question as the competition began, left many wondering…but that’s neither here nor there. Halloween is our favorite time of year and, as always, it wouldn’t be the same without you. Hit that arrow-thing down there, and get your witch on…
