NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT [Episode #197 ~ 07-20-19]

It didn’t start well, that much was obvious. DJ Lee-Roy stormed into the booth as last Saturday’s show commenced, hurling all manner of imprecations at his long-suffering legal guardian (and occasional bail bondsman) Reeshard. Was it just the bar’s noteworthy lack of air conditioning? Oh, hell no. Our favorite pit bull thought that his dedicated human was hiding the latest issue of Paws’n’Gravy, a curious dog fetish mag to which Lee-Roy subscribes. Once Reeshard pointed out that his co-host was sitting on the periodical in question, all was forgiven and it was off to the races: Over three dozen storming tunes played, while news arrived of another ultra-sleazy double bill screening at the Madison…and Uncle Morty’s truck arrived as well, the latter none too soon for one over-heated canine DJ. So much more happened — with action galore transpiring on the bar’s Outdoor Patio™ — but you’ll have to listen to get the full picture. Click right down there and the Purple Bat Lounge’s unique ambiance will materialize in the comparative safety of your own home…
