A new year is ushered in, and with it comes the mounting anxiety occasioned by Luxuria Music’s upcoming Pledge Drive. Despite the latter event occurring on an annual basis, much like equinoxes and holidays and prostate examination and tax collection, Reeshard is never prepared for the Pledge Drive. This past Saturday found Lee-Roy’s designated human fretting in the booth, without a clue as to what might make a premium sufficient to incentivize potentially generous listeners. This, a dilemma which afforded Brush St.’s most famous pit bull a heaping helping of Schadenfreude at Reeshard’s expense. Not that this concern colored the show itself to any noticeable degree: Three dozen storming tunes played; Uncle Morty stopped by with a canister of Black Dog Fire OG; A seriously Psychotronic™ double feature played at the Madison; and otherwise, everything was wild in Wildwood, just as we (and hopefully you) like it. You’re welcome to examine the aforementioned, and so much more, merely by clicking a few pixels south of here…
