NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT [Episode #131 ~ 08-05-17]

The unfortunately named dog days of summer continued this past Saturday at The Purple Bat Lounge, though the heat didn’t stop Reeshard & Lee-Roy from spinning four great sets of music. Sure, tempers occasionally flared and inflammatory remarks colored the evening’s dialog — the dog is SO sensitive about that spaying business…even now…go figure — but no one was shot. A curious twin-bill of vintage AIP drag race movies screened at The Madison. Our pitbull DJ was deeply underwhelmed by this, but experienced a change of heart once Uncle Morty’s Midnite Mobile Dispensary™ pulled up to the curb, simultaneously destroying the bar’s lawn jockey and bringing a canister of Pink Candle to Lee-Roy’s attention. Not exactly life-altering stuff, but that’s not what we’re selling here. To learn what we ARE selling, and so much more, just click in the appropriate spots immediately below.
