NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT [Episode #96 ~ 07-02-16]

Another Saturday evening at the Purple Bat Lounge, along that lonely stretch of Brush St. in downtown Detroit. When locals are asked about this particular thoroughfare, its name elicits but one associative word: “Hookers.”  It’s a street where the good of heart fear to tread, where the men are at best mercenary and the women are worse. Bad apples luxuriate in this climate, and as such it’s up to Reeshard and his canine co-host Lee-Roy to provide suitable divertissement for the picaresque bunch that frequents this part of town.  Which they did, in spades, serving up four sets of sounds which soothe the troubled minds of those individuals variously: Dodging their parole officers; trying to find small denomination bills in time for Uncle Morty’s weekly visit; or simply figuring out whether they should take the bus or catch a plane en route to the rest room. Life can be confusing, at times seeming like an exercise in pointlessness. Which is where we come in, providing the perfect soundtrack for the latter. You own trudge through the wilderness will sound that much better, once you’ve clicked on the link below. Tune in anyways…
