After performing due diligence with last week’s episode devoted to the Luxuria Music Subscription Drive, the onus was upon hosts Reeshard and Lee-Roy to get back to business  at the Purple Bat with something approaching vengeance. This Saturday’s show kicks in hard, secure in the knowledge that The Force was in hand. Lee-Roy had something else in hand as he perused the premiere issue of Paws’n’Gravy, a Canadian periodical promising to deliver ‘the complete adult canine experience.’ (The latter, evidently, constitutes many pictures of female Chow-Chows romping atop plates filled with poutine. Did I mention this thing is from Montréal?) The Madison ran a ‘loose morals’ double feature and our fave delivery guy Uncle Morty turned up, nearly on time. The first set of music alone proved fully capable of tearing down playhouses of any size. All told, it was a good one. Tune in anyways…
