NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT [Episode #63 ~ 04-18-15]

LouisJordan9

I put the Vanilla Fudge record on my favorite cut, and begin slowly stripping off my clothes and dancing to the music in the orange light. The Fudge does a psychedelic extension of Detroit spade blues, it’s like hearing the original Supremes’ version with superimposed acid hallucinations: a huge echoing room, flashing lights, the music stretching with the movement of hands and torso. Arch my back, flutter my hands like a temple dancer, throw my hair back and forth with the jerks of my belly and hips. My soft wool dress, unzipped, slips down over my hips to the floor. Stockings rolled down inch by inch. I wear no bra, touch my breasts with my hands as I slide off my black bikini underpants. I dance around Jamie, entreating gestures of arms and body, dancing in the flutter of camera clicks, sink to the floor twisting and arching to the music.
